At The First Hope Center, we offer different levels of academic support for students who may be struggling in school. If a student is capable of performing at grade level but needs some guidance to stay on track, we provide academic supportthat aligns with classroom concepts and skills. Through personalized instruction, we help students build confidence and achieve growth.

Our academic support is available for learners of all ages, from pre-K to adults, and includes instruction in reading, writing, and math. We also support high school students in advanced math and science courses.

For students facing more significant academic gaps or characteristics of learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia, we recommend intensive intervention services. These personalized therapy sessions address foundational learning challenges and are tailored to each student’s needs.

Our individual intervention services begin with an action plan. To create this plan, we gather baseline information from formal academic testing or a comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation. These assessments help us determine the most effective teaching strategies and instructional approaches.

We use multisensory, explicit instruction that is research-based and emotionally supportive. Gold-standard methods. Our goal is to empower students, helping them recognize their unique strengths and rediscover a love for learning.
