With over two decades of experience in clinical psychiatry and healthcare leadership across the U.S., Dr. Zahid Imran brings unmatched expertise to The First Hope Center. He served as Medical Director at several inpatient facilities in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and led a successful private clinical practice from 1998–2014. He was also among the first 50 psychiatrists nationwide to introduce TMS therapy for depression.
Dr. Dr. Zahid Imran has played a pivotal role in medical advocacy, education, and disaster relief through his leadership positions in the American Pakistani Psychiatric Association (APPA), APPNA, and Doctors for America. His work includes clinical research with top pharmaceutical companies and co-founding Shifa Health Associates.
Beyond medicine, he’s known for public speaking, charitable work, and mental health housing initiatives, making him a deeply compassionate force in both global and community care.
